This year’s crop, from the Kabare Cooperative, was very nice. This lot is a Peaberry (meaning that there was only one seed in each cherry) and was cupped at 88 points! Look for some stone fruit action in this one, some green apple, and some marmalade notes. The Kimandi mill is the mill at which its processed, after being grown at the Kabare Coop. The small plots that the farm is broken up into allows for a much more strategic approach for the farmers in picking and sorting the cherries, which is one of the many things that make this coffee so nice.
